This is my semi-finished entry for the 7th LD Discord Jam, the theme of which was 'COMBO'. The concept, source code and assets were all created within the 48 the event spanned, with some minor exceptions mentioned in the credits.

Description

You're Combo Swap, an up-and-coming talented newcomer to the world of boxing.

However, an unusual condition has been cast upon you: if the number of punches you land within a single flurry is odd (put another way, if the combo number modulo 2 is non-zero), you switch places with your opponent - your mind will occupy their body until you manage to land a blow on your previous body in order to switch back.

Attack Vulnerability

Your opponent is only vulnerable when preparing for an attack, pulling their hand back after performing one, or while stunned after being hit already.

When pulling back, the side opposite of the hand with which they struck is susceptible to attack.

When winding up, both sides can be struck, same as when they're stunned.

Win Condition

The only way to win is to defeat your opponent while in your own original body - losing as the opponent doesn't count, and neither does winning as them.
